Graham Annable was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada, back in the year of 1970. He grew up surrounded by hockey rinks, snowbanks and foul mouthed children. When he wasn't trying to establish a decent slapshot in the driveway, he was holed up in his room devouring as many comics as his allowance allowed for.

With a diploma in hand from Sheridan College in Toronto, he set upon a career as an animator in the early 90's. He toiled from studio to studio along the Canadian freelance circuit and ultimately ended up on the West Coast in California. As an employee of George Lucas's game company, LucasArts, Mr. Annable has worked on a variety of interactive productions over the past 10 years. Some of these titles included Full Throttle, The Dig, Outlaws and the award winning Curse of Monkey Island. With the inevitable shift towards the world of 3D animation Graham found himself needing an outlet in which to continue crafting his drawing skills. Thus the first self-published booklets of Grickle started appearing on the small press shelves at Comic Relief in Berkeley.

Jeff Mason has now been publishing Mr. Annable's comics since 2001 under the Alternative Comics label. Along with the Grickle books he has collaborated on and edited the Hickee humor anthology comics also available from Mr. Mason. Hickee was born out of friends involved in the professional animation and games industry hanging out together and drawing in cafes. Graham was a nominee for the "Best New Talent" Harvey Award in 2002. In 2004 he was voted as "Best Unknown Local Cartoonist" by the San Francisco Weekly. His work can also be found in Papercutter #3 published by Tugboat Press.

Graham currently works and lives in the Pacific Northwest as a story artist in the film industry.
